Shipping policy
Effective as of: September 5, 2025
1. Production & Processing Time
- Bridal Orders: 6 to 12 weeks, depending on design complexity, embellishments, and fabric sourcing.
- Festive or Pre-Bridal Orders: 3 to 6 weeks.
- Urgent Orders: May be accommodated at an additional charge, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance for urgent requests.
- All garments are made-to-order. Production timelines commence once full payment and confirmed details (measurements/design) are received.
2. Domestic Shipping (India)
- We offer free shipping within India for orders above ₹50,000.
- Standard delivery time is 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- Tracking details will be provided via email or WhatsApp upon shipment.
- Orders below ₹50,000 may incur a nominal shipping charge, communicated at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be adjusted due to force majeure events or local disruptions.
3. International Shipping
- We ship worldwide via premier carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or equivalent.
- International delivery timeframe: 5–12 business days after dispatch, subject to customs clearance.
- Shipping charges are based on destination and weight/volume of the package and are calculated at checkout.
- Customs, Duties, VAT & Import Taxes: All such charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the order or shipping total. These fees must be settled with your national authorities upon delivery.
- Any customs-related delays are beyond the control of Pitambara.
4. Shipping Responsibility
- Each order is quality checked and securely packaged before dispatch.
- Once dispatched, Pitambara is not liable for loss, delay, or damage caused by events out of our control or by courier services, but we will assist you in resolving such matters to the best of our ability.
- We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses. Please provide a valid, complete physical address and accurate contact details.
5. Delivery Address & Contact
- Please ensure all delivery information is accurate and complete at the time of order.
- Pitambara is not responsible for failed deliveries due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or for recipients being unavailable at the delivery location.
- Redelivery or rerouting costs due to inaccurate information will be borne by the customer.
6. Tracking & Notification
- A shipping confirmation with tracking details will be sent once your order is dispatched.
- For any assistance with tracking or delivery, please reach out to our support team.
7. Shipment Delays
- While we strive to maintain published timelines, unexpected events (such as natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, or logistical disruptions) may affect delivery schedules.
- In case of significant delays, our team will keep you informed and support in coordinating with shipping partners as needed.
8. Return Shipments
- For approved returns/exchanges, the customer is responsible for safely shipping the item(s) back to Pitambara at the address provided upon approval, unless otherwise specified.
- Returned parcels must be securely packed in original packaging when possible, and include completed documentation as instructed by our team.
